Position Available
for Outside Sales Engineer

Essential Functions:

  • Report to the sales manager and interface with sales team members, production manager, customers and prospects on a daily basis to manage existing sales and accounts, and to obtain new sales and accounts within your assigned territory within the US
  • Assist with creating quotations and proposals for customers
  • Understand application of induction equipment in order to qualify leads including detailed needs and wants analysis of customers
  • Keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities with customers in Customer and Sales Order CRM database. Schedule follow-up activities as needed.
  • Create new sales orders in Sales Order CRM database and process new sales orders as required
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving sales targets
  • Perform additional duties, projects and customer service related activities as requested or assigned
  • Tend to all customer needs and answer all customer questions from initial contact through installation and start-up of purchased equipment within assigned territory within the US
  • Attend trade shows and other networking events as a representative of ITC
  • Can work either from the corporate office in Adelanto, Ca and travel to assigned territory or work remotely from within assigned territory.
  • Areas within continental US that need stronger representation are: Northeast, Southeast and Midwest territories.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years outside sales experience with a proven successful sales record
  • Must have prior experience with induction heating and/or melting equipment, and/or the foundry/forging/metal refining industry
  • Be a minimum of a high school graduate or equivalent. An Associate or Bachelor degree in business, or mechanical/electrical technology is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills and Background:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Bi-Lingual a plus
  • Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction for achieving company goals and objectives
  • Effective time management and organization skills are required
  • Computer literate with a basic understanding and knowledge of MS Office
  • Aptitude for understanding mechanical and electrical manufacturing and equipment

This is a full time position that pays a base salary plus commission. Other benefits include medical, dental, vision, AFLAC, profit sharing, and 401K.
